How to Find the Right Compostable Bag for You
Natur-Bag® provides compostable bags for all aspects of an eco-friendly lifestyle. To find the right bag for your needs you just need to know:
- Which type of container you are using (estimated size or gallons it holds)?
- What are you collecting? Such as wet stuff like food scraps, heavy waste, or any sharp objects.

What does "mil" mean? MIL is the gauge of thickness of the plastic. Natur-Bag compostable bags are available in the following gauge:
1MIL = 25 microns
1.25 MIL = 31 microns
- Use 0.8mil for medium duty. Holds up to a few pounds of objects without rough edges.
- Use 1.0mil for heavier duty and thickness. Holds many gallons of trash with rough edges, but sharp edges are not recommended.
- Use 1.25mil for extra tough duty thickness. Designed for heavy yard and lawn waste that may have some sharp objects such as sticks and branches.
All Natur-Bag® products are:
